CrosStar LPU-101 Line Protection Unit

The LPU-101 is a dedicated leased or private telephone line electromagnetic transient surge arrestor for SCADA systems. The LPU-101 provides four stages of surge protection with transformer (DC) isolation, and is suited for 300 to 9600BPS audio data modems and voice use.

The telephone line connection is via telephone industry standard threaded stud terminals, and the SCADA equipment connection is a wire clamp, pluggable connector. Surge protection connection to earth ground is through the unit's mounting screw to the cabinet's chassis.
